The VegeXmas event features a wide range of vendors, from makers of various gift items to producers of vegan foods.

VegeXmas has grown in popularity

The event was first held in 2019. “VegeXmas started with the idea of bringing together everything needed for a vegan Christmas under one roof,” says Ebba Ervasti, producer at Vegefirma, the event’s organizer.

In 2022, the event was held at the Vaunusali hall at Kulttuuritehdas Korjaamo—a larger venue was sought for this year’s event. The event features a wide selection of vegan products, ranging from savory foods to natural cosmetics.

“We select vendors for the event who offer ecologically produced plant-based products,” says Ervasti. “Most of the vendors are small business owners, and there are also products from neighboring countries that are less commonly available,” she explains.

“The event demonstrates how wonderful treats and Christmas gifts can also be created in a responsible and plant-based way.”
