Community Clubrooms

Service companies provide Kalasatama residents with community club spaces that complement the buildings’ own common areas and offer opportunities for diverse and community-oriented recreationaland other activities.

The provision of community club spaces has already been decided in the zoning plan, which stipulates that each residential lot must include community spaces of a certain size for recreational and gathering purposes. The community club spaces can be used, for example, to host joint meetings for local residents or even summer parties. The spaces also offer opportunities for children’s activities throughout the year.

Sauna and Other Recreational Facilities

The facilities at Talas can be furnished and customized as needed so that they can be used for as many purposes as possible. The bookable facilities include, among other things, a TV screen and PA systems in the banquet halls. The community club area also features a private sauna section with seaside terraces that can be reserved for groups. In addition, the community club area will feature a café/restaurant that serves visitors to the area, events, and residents of the member communities, as well as providing catering services to facility users and events. The restaurant operator’s liquor license covers the entire property, excluding banquet hall A204/Luotsi.

The lobby can be reserved for larger special occasions and events. The reservation fee and time are always negotiated on a case-by-case basis with a representative of the service companies.

You may also order catering from other vendors or bring your own food and drinks to the bookable venues. Please note, however, that you may only consume your own alcoholic beverages in room A204/Luotsi.

Talas Community Club Facility Reservation Guidelines

The community center facilities are primarily available for reservation by residents of shareholder communities (housing cooperatives, etc.).
Facilities that are available and not reserved may also be rented to others for a usage fee.

Note! Residents are eligible for a discounted rate. Discount codes and booking instructions for homeowners’ associations are available from the property managers and building managers of the respective homeowners’ associations or housing companies.

General booking instructions for Talas community club facilities:

         2. Click the “Book a Time” button to select available spaces.
         3. You’ll see a list of available spaces. Select the space you want:
            • Event Spaces / Multipurpose Spaces (Särkkä, Majakka, Luotsi, Aava)
            • Remote Work Spaces (M.T. Talas 1, M.T. Talas 2, Redi, Ankkuri, Kompassi)
            • Sauna and lounge (Harmaja)
         4. First, select the duration of the service (reservation). Then, click the desired date on the calendar and select a suitable time slot.
         5. Only residents of the shareholder communities should enter a discount code; others should leave this field blank.
         6. Enter the requested information, such as your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
            
            
         7. Proceed to the payment page. Please review the cancellation policy carefully before making your payment.
         8. Make your payment. You can pay with a debit card or most major credit cards.
         9. Once you have entered your card information, click the “Book” button in the lower right corner to confirm the payment.
         10. You will receive a booking confirmation via email once the booking has been successfully completed.

Be sure to check all the details carefully before confirming your reservation.

Please note that we are constantly developing our system, so there may be minor updates to the instructions and features.

Facilities are available for booking starting April 2, 2026.

The person who made the reservation is responsible for keeping the space clean after the reservation ends. Please review the cleaning instructions for the space here: TALAS COMMUNITY ROOM CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS.

The facility reservation fees cover the costs associated with property maintenance (such as cleaning after use of the sauna, remote work spaces, and party rooms, property maintenance, security, energy, land rent, insurance, property tax, etc.). The goal is for all of Talas’s expenses to be covered by the reservation fees.

Reservation fees are based on the estimated utilization rate of the shared club space, which is currently in its initial phase; as the utilization rate increases, there is the possibility of lowering the prices for reserving the spaces.

Residents can use the facilities at half price.
