On the last weekend of March, Teurastamo will be filled with Easter spirit and vintage tableware.
Teurastamo will be celebrating Easter in Kalasatama at the end of March, when the traditional Easter Market and Tableware Flea Market arrive in the area on Palm Sundayweekend, on Saturday, March 28.
Food, Easter decorations, and design
The event features a wide range of vendors, including dozens of brands specializing in food, clothing, design, jewelry, home decor, flowers, and cosmetics. The full list of vendors can be found on the Teurastamo website.
The market will emphasize an Easter theme, and traditions, decorations, and shared activities and experiences are at the heart of this year’s event. The event offers a chance to enjoy the atmosphere on-site and shop for yourself or for gifts. In addition, local restaurants will be serving visitors during the event.
The Tableware Flea Market, meanwhile, brings together collectors of vintage tableware to hunt for treasures. The tableware selection includes all kinds of items for everyday use, such as glasses, cups, and various kitchen utensils. According to the event organizers, Astiakirppis prioritizes quality, durability, and local craftsmanship when selecting vendors.

A variety of activities for all ages
In addition to the market stalls, other activities are organized in the area, such as a free Easter whip-making workshop by the Skidit collective from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., where you can make your own Easter whip in honor of Easter. In addition, pony and horse rides will be available in the courtyard for a small fee.
You can apply to be a vendor at the market at this form, and you can reserve a table at Astiakirppis at markkinat@teurastamo.com. For more details about Saturday’s event can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
The Easter Market and Astiakirppis will be held at Teurastamo on March 28 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Admission to the event is free.
