The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation and Luontokauppa have moved to Kalasatama

The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation’s offices and the Nature Shop are currently located in Kalasatama.

The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation headquarters and the store moved to Sörnäistenkatu 1, into premises owned by Antiloop, in early 2026. The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation moved from Lauttasaari to the eastern part of downtown following the demolition of its old offices.

In addition to the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, the Luontokauppa also moved to a new location and is now on the first floor of the building.

“We wanted to be in a location with good transportation access, and with the move, we’ve been able to improve the store in many ways,” says Luontokauppa’s CEO Tapio Kujala. “Environmental issues were a top priority in the move. This was evident both in our choice of a responsible landlord (Antilooppi) and in our decision to purchase recycled store fixtures,” he continues.

Products for the Sake of Nature

Luontokauppa serves everyone who cares about nature. Its purpose is to promote nature conservation efforts and, in part, to help fund the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation’s work on behalf of nature.

According to Kujala, environmental factors are an important part of purchasing decisions for many consumers. “All proceeds from the store go toward nature conservation,” he notes.

The store’s selection includes responsible and eco-friendly products ranging from office supplies to clothing and games. The sustainability of the products is reflected, for example, in the choice of materials, the country of origin, production certifications, and the carbon footprint. Many products feature the familiar Saimaa ringed seal logo of the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation.

The online store also serves customers around the clock and offers, for example, nature-themed magazines from past years.

Special offer throughout April

Throughout April, Luontokauppa is offering new customers a 20% discount on a product of their choice. You can redeem the offer by mentioning it at checkout. At the same time, you can enter a drawing for a product package worth over 80 euros.
