The Kalasatama and Suvilahti areas will once again host a wide variety of events in the summer of 2024. Construction work in the area is delayed, and the Flow Festival, for example, will continue at its current location.
MAY
The “World in a Village” festival, which focuses on sustainable development, will be held in Suvilahti on May 25–26.
The “World in a Village” festival, which focuses on culture and sustainable development, will take place in Suvilahti during the last week of May. The theme for 2024 is courage. The program includes musical performances, food and bazaar stalls, discussions on sustainable development, and other activities. The event’s main stage will be located at Tiivistämö.

JUNE
The new Suvilahti Summer event series takes over Energiakenttä from June 11–30.
Suvilahti Summer, a series of events focusing on Finnish performers, kicks off in the summer of 2024. The event will feature live performances by, among others, Evelina, Anssi Kela, and Maustetytöt. The event is organized by Suvilahti TBA, which manages the event center and restaurant at the Suvilahti Cultural Center, and Live Nation Finland in collaboration with the City of Helsinki. The event has an 18+ age restriction.

The Tuska Metal Festival returns to Suvilahti June 28–30.
One of the Nordic region’s largest heavy metal festivals, the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, returns to Suvilahti on the last weekend of June. The concerts will take place at the Suvilahti event grounds. This year’s performers include, among others, Dimmu Borgir, Elvenking and Assemble the Chariots. The lineup also features big names in Finnish rock and metal.

JULY
Jytäkesä Go-Go brings the sounds of summer to Suvilahti Field on July 26–27.
The two-day Jytäkesä Go-Go festival brings a wide range of today’s hottest rock artists to Suvilahti Field and Tiivistämö. This year’s performers include, for example, Atomirotta, Litku Klemetti and Maustetytöt, and visitors will also be able to enjoy spoken-word performances. There will be food, drinks, and merchandise available to suit a variety of tastes.

AUGUST
Flow Festival
The hugely popular Flow Festival will continue its Suvilahti tradition into 2024, celebrating its 20th anniversary. For three days, the festival grounds will feature top pop and indie acts, such as Halsey, Pulp, and Jesse Markin. Finnish acts include Yeboyah and Antti Autio. There are over 150 performers. The program also features art as well as a diverse range of food and beverage vendors.
