The revamped Fisuverkko went live on June 1, 2017!

In early 2017, Kalasataman Palvelu Oy launched a project to revamp the Fisuverkkoarea portal, with the aim of addressing user feedback, reducing operating costs, and providing housing associations with a more advanced building portal for internal communication.

The old Fisuverkko will remain available until June 30, 2017, so that housing associations can transfer their content and user accounts to the new Fisuverkko during this one-month period of parallel operation. After June 30, 2017, the old Fisuverkko, along with its content and user accounts, will be permanently taken out of service. At the same time, the partnership between the Service Company and ADCHelsinki will come to an end. The Service Company thanks ADCHelsinki and wishes them success in the future.

The new Fisuverkko’s public neighborhood portal and password-protected building portal are now available, and the Service Company welcomes all Kalasatama residents to explore the service! The design of the public neighborhood portal aims to maintain a clear continuity with the old version, and the content is largely the same. The most significant changes from the old Fisuverkko are:

  • The “Links” section on the homepage has been moved to a dedicated, more advanced links page, where information can be searched more efficiently using categories and keywords. At the same time, the “Services” and “Events” sections on the homepage have been integrated into the links page, and going forward, instead of a separate events calendar, users will be directed to the organizers’ own calendar pages.
  •
  • The focus of the “Current Events” section on the homepage is shifting from editorial content to more effective communication about the Service Company’s own operations. In this way, the Service Company aims to respond to feedback received from Kalasatama residents and to provide more frequent and comprehensive information about decisions and plans made, as well as their impact on Kalasatama residents’ living conditions!

The password-protected building portal has been completely redesigned, and now offers more versatile options for internal communication within the housing association, starting with the ability to use building-specific resident/owner IDs alongside personal IDs.

Old Fisuverkko usernames do not work in the new building portal. Effective use of the building portal for internal communication requires that the board generate communications and content through it; therefore, the implementation of the building portal is board-led in each housing association. If your housing association’s board decides to implement the housing portal, it will inform residents about the implementation and the new login credentials.
