The Suvilahti field area will once again host major events in the summer of 2025.
The “World in a Village” Festival for Civil Rights, May 24–25.
At the end of May 2025 The World in a Village Festival will celebrate its 30th anniversary. The theme of this year’s event is Peace. Organized by civil society, the festival features performances by Finnish and international musicians, panel discussions, children’s programming, street food, and exhibitors.
“We hope that as many people as possible will come to the festival to support the message of peace and the work of civil society organizations in promoting peace and a more just world. Only together can we make the world more sustainable for future generations,” says the festival’s program director Johanna Eurakoski.

Tuska caters to metal music fans July 27–29.
Metal fans are in for a weekend full of heavy music as Finland’s most famous metal festival returns to the Suvilahti event grounds. Headliners for the 2025 Tuska Festival include In Flames, Cradle of Filth, as well as solo artists from Nightwish: Tarja and Marko Hietala.

Jytäkesä Go-Go brings together the biggest names in rock on July 25–26.
Now in its fourth year in Suvilahti, this two-day rock festival once again promises attendees a wide-ranging lineup of over 30 artists, featuring both Finnish and international acts. Friday’s lineup includes, for example, the Norwegian band Turbonegro, and on Saturday, the Finnish acts J. Karjalainen and Antti Autio.
In addition to the music lineup, visitors can enjoy food, drink, and merchandise booths.

Flow Festival takes over Suvilahti August 8–10.
Flow Festival, which has grown into a hugely popular event, continues its traditional August celebration in Suvilahti. The highlights of this three-day culture and music festival are genre-bending shows, ranging from tent concerts to main-stage performances. This year, some of the weekend’s hottest acts include, for example, FKA Twigs, Little Simz and Charli XCX. Finland will be represented by, for example, Olga and Senya. In addition, The Other Sound program showcases interesting acts in experimental music from Finland and abroad.
In addition to music, visitors can enjoy food and drinks as well as an art program.
