Housing Company Introduction
The six Townhouse urban homes on Antareksenkatu are located by the sea in Helsinki’s Kalasatama district. These homes, known as Townhouse single-family homes, are each their own real estate unit (not part of a housing cooperative or similar entity). The townhouses are individually designed according to each resident’s wishes. Each house features six rooms, a kitchen, a sauna, a foyer, a rooftop terrace, a two-car garage, and a large storage room. In addition, all of them have provisions for an elevator. Each house is its own property and has its own connections to district heating, electricity, water, and sewer systems, etc. The houses are energy-efficient and equipped to a very high standard.
Kalasatama offers excellent transportation connections, as buses, the metro, and—in the future—trams all operate in the vicinity. The proximity to the sea and the wide range of services offer residents an excellent living environment. Although each townhouse on Antareksenkatu is a separate unit, a so-called “homeowners’ association page” has been created for the residents of all the homes. The housing association page serves as a shared bulletin board for residents, and at the same time, the Townhouse single-family homes are connected to the shared courtyard, Stuuvari. Through the housing association page, each resident can also access their own apartment page, where they can compile important information about their apartment and, if they wish, leave it for the next resident.
