Trash bins will be installed at a total of five locations in the shared courtyards managed by the service company, so that they are easily visible and accessible to both residents and people using the street areas. Through this procurement, the service company aims to do its part to promote overall cleanliness in the Kalasatama area.
Each of the five installation sites will receive a uniform set of bins: Lehtovuori Oy’s Novus 120 Combi trash can with a tubular ashtray and the Novus 120 Doggy for dog waste. The service company is responsible for installation, emptying, and maintenance. Installations will be completed over the winter. Based on user feedback regarding the trash bins, the service company will decide separately whether to also place trash bins in the shared courtyards of Sörnäistenniemi, which are scheduled for completion at a later date.
