Kalasataman Palvelu Oy has decided to provide all shared courtyards with toy boxes for storing children’s outdoor play equipment. The toy boxes will be delivered in early April, and residents will be responsible for their use. The boxes do not have locks, but residents can, for example, use the neighborhood-specific “courtyard forum” on this website to agree on more specific rules for their use in each courtyard. The boxes are manufactured in Finland. The idea was proposed by Kalasatama resident Laura Lampinen.
