Service Company Provides Information on the Murals in the Stevari Neighborhood

The mural paintings in the shared courtyard of the Stevari block, which began last fall, are expected to be completed around the end of May or beginning of June, weather permitting. Preparations for the painting will begin on Friday, May 18, 2018, with the delivery of materials to the storage area and the protection of surfaces.

The artist will work on the murals for at least two weeks, depending on the weather. Work will take place during daylight hours. Towers that are being painted or are drying will be cordoned off with flagging tape and warning cones.

We ask those using the courtyard to note that it takes about 3–4 days for the paint to dry completely, even though it becomes touch-dry sooner. For this reason, we ask that you specifically instruct children not to touch the towers surrounded by flagging tape or warning tape unnecessarily, and not to climb on them.

More illustrations, sketches, and the story behind the project can be found in the Facebook group created for the painting project Stevari Neighborhood Street Art Project.
