The tram construction site at Kalasatama is underway and making progress. However, a minor setback regarding the waste pipe collection system has arisen because the city gas pipeline is located at the exact same spot where the vacuum waste pipe is being relocated.
In practice, this means that either the gas pipeline must be relocated or the vacuum waste collection pipe must be installed deeper. These options are currently being evaluated, and we will, of course, strive to choose a solution that keeps us on schedule, if possible.
Unfortunately, it is possible that, despite our best efforts, the interruption in pipe-based waste collection may extend into early June.
