Housing Company Introduction
The first apartments in As Oy Helsingin Fiskari were completed in 2015. The architectural firm Brunow and Maunula designed the building to establish a connection with its maritime neighbors; the building is reminiscent of the ramparts of Suomenlinna and the light-colored facades with dark roofs along the eastern shore of Katajanokka. The Fiskari apartments offer sea views toward Mustikkamaa and Katajanokka. Fiskari and Asunto Oy Kalasataman Fregatti together form a courtyard block, with single-family homes being built along its northern edge.
Commercial spaces will be built at street level in the Fiskari block, and an underground parking garage for residents’ use will be constructed beneath the shared courtyard. The multi-toned brick buildings in the block bounded by Junonkatu and Arcturuksenkatu are being developed by Sato Oyj. Fiskari has excellent transportation connections, and Kalasatama’s diverse services are close at hand for residents. Fiskari rises as an extension of the seawall, offering magnificent sea views.
