The strike in the automotive and transportation sectors, which began on Wednesday, February 15, is affecting waste collection in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
We ask that residents keep cardboard and paper packaging at home during the strike.
The strike is expected to last until midnight on Tuesday, February 21. We will provide updates on the IMU website and on Facebook as the situation develops.
